Desiccant Air Dryer Assemblies
Desiccant dryers remove small traces of moisture or mist from compressed air systems. These assemblies use moisture-absorbent beads to pull the moisture from the system in a chemical reaction. The beads change from blue to pink when saturated, indicating absorption capacity. Read our Operating Manual for more information.Desiccant air dryer assemblies do not require a power source and are easily serviceable with replacement desiccant beads. These units are made from die-cast zinc for strength and are especially effective for protecting laboratory instrumentation, spray painting equipment, and air lines exposed to freezing conditions. Use desiccant dryers in addition to pneumatic filters for maximum air purity.
Note: Units equipped with polycarbonate bowls are not compatible with certain chemicals. Please reference our FAQs and select “Filters” for a listing of known substances that should not be in contact with the polycarbonate bowls.
In-Line Desiccant Dryers
These dryers remove moisture from pneumatic systems and are installed in-line with the equipment. An external indicator strip changes from blue to pink to signal saturation.
